Born on June 4, 1959, in Minnesota, Steven Paul Weber grew up with an adventurous spirit, a quick wit, and a love of people that defined his life. He passed away on September 1, 2025, at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas, surrounded by the family who meant everything to him. He was 66 years old.

Steve was the son of Lynn Weber and Dee Schwake, both of whom preceded him in death. After spending his early years in Houston, Texas, Steve made his home in Salado, Texas, where he built a life filled with family, friendships, and countless stories worth retelling.

Steve grew up with a lively spirit and a natural gift for storytelling. Those who knew him will remember his quick humor, his endless supply of jokes, and the way he could make a room brighter just by walking in. He lived life fully and by his own rules, never missing a chance to take care of the people he loved.

Steve shared 18 wonderful years of marriage with his wife and childhood friend, Carla King of Salado. He was a proud father to Daniel Weber of California and a deeply cherished "Papa" to Ellyse and her son Amias, as well as Olivia, Grady, and Easton. His love extended to his sister Terri Flinn's children - Nick Flinn, Zach Robinson, Josh Robinson, Madelynne Martinez, and Macie Martinez - each of whom he embraced as his own.

More than anything, Steve will be remembered for his heart. Whether it was family, friends, or neighbors, he made sure those around him were cared for. He was the kind of man who always had a story, always had a joke, and always had time to help.

Steve leaves behind a legacy of laughter, loyalty, and love - a life well-lived and a man well-loved.

Steve is survived by his wife, Carla King; his son, Daniel Weber; his grandchildren, Ellyse, Olivia, Grady, and Easton; his great grandchild Amias; his brother, Scott Weber; his sister, Terri Flinn, and her children; and many dear friends who became like family.

A celebration of Steve's life will be held September 27th at Belton Church of God in Christ, 5741 FM439 Belton, Tx 76513, at 11am, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory with the stories and laughter he so often inspired.

Hewett-Arney Funeral Home of Temple is entrusted with these arrangements.
