Steven Mark Wheeler, age 67, was called Home on September 27th, 2024. Born on September 28th, 1956, to Herbert Joseph and Virginia Ruth Wheeler (nee Bacon). Steve was a Father, Grandfather, and Friend. He was a dedicated Father to Shannon Wheeler (Joshua Bentley). Biological Father to Mark Paul, and Steven Mark. Stepfather to Amberlynn Biggs, and Dustyn Bennett. Proud Grandfather to Nathaniel Wheeler (Marissa Stewart), Alecya Pratt, Jalon Pratt, Jazlynn Potter, Joshua Bentley Jr., and Destiny Bentley. He also leaves behind two great grandchildren, Remy Phillips, and Kaelynn Wheeler, whose smiles brought him immense joy, along with his yorkies Lilo, and Stitch. He was a loyal partner to Sheila Nelson. Steve grew up quickly, learning the value of hard work, and family. He is survived by his siblings Donnie, Kathleen, and Herbie. Preceded in death by his brothers Billy, and Boby. Alongside a partner Annette Biggs, and furbaby Scruffy. With a rough exterior that belied his enormous heart, he loved fiercely and devoted his life to those around him. A jack of all trades, Steve had a passion for mechanics, and spent countless hours working on classic cars, including his prized 1968 Chavelle, 1941 Ford Coupe, and 1975 El Camino. His Ford truck helped him tackle every project that came his way. "Steve" in Greek means "Crown", which symbolizes honor and victory, often associated with a life dedicated to serving others, and Steven Mark Wheeler certainly did. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. In honor of his memory, the family requests donations be made to his GoFundMe page -
