Steve White, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025, at the age of 67. He is now reunited in heaven with loved ones who have gone before.
Steve married Vicki L White on June 27, 1981, and shared 43 wonderful years with the love of his life. They met at Adrian College, where Steve played football and studied accounting. Their love story is one of enduring commitment and joy.
He was a devoted family man. Steve was the first child born to Ralph L White (d. 2006) and Sheila Lackey White (d. 1986) and is survived by his sister Christina (Kenny) Rohrbach of Stephenson, VA, his brother Mark (Jackie) of Hendersonville, TN, and his brother Scott (Kristen) of Murrieta, CA. Steve was a nephew of Karen Lackey Davies of Los Gatos, CA, beloved son-in-law of James D (d. 2025) & Virginia White of Coldwater, MI and brother-in-law of Julie Pierson (Mike) and Jim (Renee) White of Coldwater.
Steve is survived by his three sons and their families: Brad and Lindsay of Wichita, KS, Matt and Justine of Middleburg Heights, OH, and Eric & MJ of Celina, TX. He leaves behind a cherished legacy of ten grandchildren: John, Clara, Luke, Jack, Hailey, Sadie, Grace, Ivy, Makenzie, and Madison. He cherished every moment with his grandchildren, whose laughter, milestones, and unique personalities filled his heart with boundless pride and joy. Steve is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved friends.
A successful businessperson, Steve dedicated over 40 years of his career to ParkOhio and Ajax Tocco Magnethermic, serving most recently as VP and CFO. He had a respected financial mind and was admired by colleagues and clients alike. In addition to work, Steve was an avid sports fan, cheering on his boys during years of wrestling and remaining devoted to the end to all Cleveland teams.
Steve's life was marked by his dedication to his family, his work, and his community of friends. His faith in Jesus Christ was a cornerstone of his life, providing him with strength and guidance. Steve's transition into heaven is a testament to his unwavering faith, and he is now at peace in the presence of his Savior. Steve will be deeply missed and remembered forever by all who knew him.
Family and friends will gather to remember Steve on Thursday May 1, 2025 from 3-7pm at Jardine Funeral Home, 15822 Pearl Rd. Strongsville. Funeral service will be the following day Friday, May 2 at 11am. Burial will take place in the Strongsville Cemetery at a later date. NO FLOWERS PLEASE.
