Steven Wilson, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 74. Dear son of the late Stanley and Patricia Wilson. Devoted husband of 53 years to Susan Wilson and loving father to Brian (Emily) Wilson, Beth (Dustin) Thacker, and Brett (Torre) Wilson. Cherished and proud grandfather to Wilson Thacker, Kallan Thacker, Lucy Wilson, Graham Wilson and Ella Wilson. Dear brother to David (Darlene) Wilson, Carolyn (Wilson) Pool, Donald (Debbie) Wilson, and Andrew (Angela) Wilson and fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Steve was known for his kind heart, unwavering support of his family, and the joy and laughter he brought to those around him. His love of music, cycling, dancing, singing, and his sense of humor will always be remembered. He leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and cherished memories that his family and friends will hold close to their hearts. While he will be deeply missed, his spirit will live on in the lives of those he touched.
A service to celebrate Steven's life will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Grace Lutheran Church 200 N. Catherine Avenue, LaGrange, IL. Memorial visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Brookfield Zoo in Steve's honor would be appreciated.
