Born on May 20, 1949, in New Albany, Indiana, Steven was the son of the late Paul Wilton and Ruth Weber. He dedicated many years of his career to Neill-LaVielle Industrial Supply Company and also worked for a period at the U.S. Census Bureau. A passionate sports fan, Steven was an avid supporter of Indiana University athletics.
Steven is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Brenda Wilton; his son, Zach Wilton of Sellersburg, Indiana; and his sister, Ann Flanigan of Georgetown, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Wilton, as well as his parents.
A private burial will be held at Walnut Ridge Cemetery.
