Steven Winston Obituary

Steve received his bachelor's degree in English at the University of Virginia and he became a doctor of juris prudence at St. John's University where he was mentored by Governor Mario Cuomo.
Steven was an Attorney at Steven Winston, ESQ, in Monroe, NY. For more than twenty years he worked to help thousands of people overcome substance abuse addiction as the Director of Legal and Human Resources at Daytop Village in Manhattan, Swan Lake, and Rhinebeck, New York.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Marla Winston, children Erik Winston and Sara Winston, son-in-law Topher Horn, siblings Arthur Weinstein, Matthew Weinstein, and Lisa Sherman, and beloved granddaughter Anita Horn, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Smith, Seaman & Quackenbush Funeral Home, 117 Maple Ave., Monroe, NY. Interment will follow at the Town of Rhinebeck Cemetery, 55 Mill Road, Rhinebeck, NY.
