Haywood Strickland Hullender, 81, passed away on August 29, 2024, at his home in Carrollton, Texas. Haywood, known as "Rudy" to his loved ones, was born to hardworking Christian parents on October 17, 1942. He was an honest and intelligent man whose knack for business led to a distinguished career in mergers and acquisitions. He also served in the armed forces as a youth, where he learned the diligence and perseverance that eventually led to him starting his own business and enriching the lives of countless clients and employees.
Rudy was not only a professional wizard but also a loving son, caring brother, and generous father to Cary, Jason, Lori, and Tatiana. His passion for family reverberated both at home and at work, where he worked side by side with several of his children in bettering the lives of business owners all across the United States. He also took great pleasure in family reunions and road trips to visit friends and relatives.
A celebration of Rudy's life will be held on September 10, 2024, at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville, Texas, where friends and family can share their memories.

Nita Jean Hullender (1953 - )
Nina Jo Hullender (1953 - )
His children are Cary Hullender (1964 - ), Lori Ann Bynum (1973 - ), Jason Hullender (1978 - ), and Tatiana Hullender (1988 - ).
Rudy was also a proud grandfather to Cary's daughters, Angela Baker and Kristi Shurn, Lori's children Allie McKay, Keagan Bynum, and Emma Fish, and Jason's sons Alex and Jake Hullender.
