Deacon Stuart Alexander Davis was born on September 4, 1969 in
Miami, Florida to the late Olie Davis and Eugenia Blackshear. He departed this life peacefully on December 26, 2025 surrounded by those he loved.
Stuart received his education through the public schools of Dade County, graduating from Carol City High School in 1989. He later received his college degree from Florida Memorial. It was there that he found the love of his life, the former Arlenda Ingram. Stuart and Arlenda were united in Holy Matrimony in
Fort Pierce, Florida. Together they shared 34 beautiful years of marriage while building a life rooted in love, faith, and family. From their union came three children and five grandchildren, all of whom were his pride and joy.
Deacon Davis moved his family to Atlanta, Georgia and was employed by Homeland Security to provide for his family. After many years, He returned back to Florida to care for his ailing father until his passing. He was employed by the Department of Juvenile Justice where he would devote his professional life to helping others-it was a calling, and his impact will be felt for years to come by those he serviced. He was given an accolade from the Department of Children and Families for his work with guiding those who were straying back to the fold.
Deacon Davis loved the Lord and it was truly shown during his days of singing with the Miami Mass Choir under the direction of Min. Mark Cooper. It didn't stop there, Deacon Davis's voice can be heard while singing with the St. Mark Male Chorus. He was also a part of the Deacons Ministry where he often times could be seen escorting the Pastor into the sanctuary.
Deacon Davis served on many outreach programs. His civic duties included his membership with the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and he had a great love for his fraternity brothers.
