Stuart A Nelson, age 85 of White Pine passed away in Johnson City on Thursday, May 16, 2024. He lived a Christian life and watched church regularly on the television. He was an accountant by trade but would rather be farming or raising Plott Hounds. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy B Nelson, parents, Carroll and Jean Nelson, brother, Jim Nelson and special friends, Jo Ann Kinley.
He is survived by his children, John Nelson and Cindy (Jeff) Jenkins, grandchildren, Colt Jenkins and Lenzie (Matt) Proffitt, great-granddaughter, Elowyn Proffitt, special people in his life, Jerry and Nancy Kinsler, Terry Sellars and family, David and Shawn Lindsey, Vivian Smith, Terry and Lisa Stanley, Joe Jaynes, Ed and Libby Cagle, Don and Cindy Wright, Dale Allen, Dr. Glen Hall, Barry Holdway, Danny and Rhonda Holdway.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 20, 2024 between the hours of 5:00pm and 7:00pm at Farrar Funeral Home in White Pine. There will be a Private Family Graveside Service later. According to Stuart, if you have read this far, In Lieu of Flowers please send a check to St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital or Shriner’s Children's Hospital and teach your children to think and vote conservative.
