Stuart Sachs

Stuart Lee Sachs passed away peacefully on March 22, 2024, in New Haven, CT, after a lengthy illness.
He is survived by his sister, Sherie Roberts (Keith) of Southbury, CT; brother, Gary Sachs of Eagle, CO; and several nieces and nephews: Carolyn Roberts (David Blair) of New Bedford, MA, Matthew Roberts (Katerina) of Dijon, France, James Sachs (Brie) of New York, NY, Leslie Robinson (Sam) of Eagle, CO and Greg Sachs (Abbie Bresnahan) of Boston, MA; and a great-nephew, Glen Robinson. He is also survived by his cousin, Sarah Yaffe of Pikesville, MD.
He was predeceased by his parents, Myron and Helene Sachs of Randallstown, MD and his sister-in-law, Maryanne Sachs of Lincoln, MA.
Stuart was a graduate of the Gilman School, the University of Pennsylvania and King's College, Cambridge University, England. Stuart attended King's College as a University of Pennsylvania Thouron Scholar where he was captain of the Lacrosse team and earned two master's degrees in international relations and social and political sciences.
He worked for many years in Customer Relationship Management in several industries in England, New York and Connecticut.
Stuart had a passion for caring for cats - his cats, Sherie and Keith's cats, Carolyn's cats, and any stray cat in his neighborhood. He also enjoyed collecting books about American and World history, as well as social criticism and politics.
Services at United Hebrew Cemetery, 3901 Washington Blvd, Halethorpe, MD 21227, on Monday, March 25th, 2024, at 10:30 am. Please omit flowers. Contributions in his memory may be sent to the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary in Newtown, CT (http://cvhfoundation.org).
