It is with profound sorrow, and deep love that we announce the passing of Moby Walton, affectionately known as "Moby" or "MoMo", a beloved son, husband, bonus dad, grandfather, brother, and friend, who departed this life on August 12, 2025, at the age of 62.

Stuart leaves behind a beloved wife, Debra; mother, Joy Walton; daughters, Niki (Will), Paige (Trent), Haley (Mitchell), Taylor (Dillon); sister, Dee; grandchildren, Landon, Baylor, Lilly, Kenzie, Kamy, Zach, Scarlett, Rolie, and Madeline, with a new addition expected to join the fold.

Professionally, Moby worked as a Thread Representative in the Oil Industry, where he was well-regarded for his unwavering work ethic. Outside of work, his true passions were his family and pursuits that brought shared joy, such as settling in for Marvel and anime films.

Stuart was known for hardworking to provide for his family. He instilled these principles in his family. He built lives filled with happiness and purpose. His laughter, voice, and cough will be greatly missed. He was known for his excessively long showers and blow-drying his hair. Moby was also the first call when anything in the house needed fixing. His motto, "you name it, I'll fix it", spoke volumes about his can-do attitude and his eagerness to lend a helpful hand. Stuart dreamed of one day owning a Harley Davidson motorcycle.

His grandkids will fondly remember "MoMo" for his legendary bear hugs and unparalleled advice. Even with his jokester spirit and a hint of stubbornness, Moby's gentle wisdom and heartfelt kindness will be the part of him that endures in each of their hearts.

Music was another thread that wove through Moby's life, offering moments of solace and reflection. He held a particular fondness for country tunes and cherished old hymns, with his favorites being "The Old Rugged Cross" and anything by Alan Jackson.

A respected mechanic, a provider, a giver of great advice; Moby embodied each of these roles with a genuine sense of duty and love. His loss leaves a vacancy not easily filled, but the memory of his profound influence and unwavering commitment to his family will remain an everlasting tribute to a life beautifully lived. Stuart "Moby" Walton will be deeply missed.

Public Viewing will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM, at Acres West Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 8115 W. University Blvd, Odessa, TX 79764
