Sue Bittinger

Sue (Stout) Bittinger, 85, of Beech Grove, Indiana, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2025, in Indianapolis. Born in Kentucky, Sue moved to Beech Grove as a young girl and proudly called the community home for 78 years. A graduate of Beech Grove High School, she remained closely connected to the area throughout her life.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Dorothy Stout; her husband, Leslie Carl Bittinger; and her daughter, Tammy Lindsey.
She is survived by her daughter, Theresa McLean; grandchildren Heather Bittinger, Cristina Lawless, Robert Lindsey, and Kayla McLean; and great-grandchildren Mercedes Bittinger, Carl Young, Kameron Norman, Riley Lawless, and Gavin McClure. Sue's family and friends will remember her for her warmth, resilience, and the love she shared so generously.
A visitation will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life at 2:00 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral and Cremation Care, 7520 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis.
