Sue Carolyn Bockerstette, age 84, passed away peacefully on the morning of January 8, 2025, at Liberty Place Memory Care. Born on May 12, 1940, in Lexington, Kentucky, she was a cherished daughter of the late John and Christine (Miller) Richardson. Sue leaves behind a loving family that will remember her warmth and devotion. She is survived by her sons Joe (Jenny) Bockerstette and Jim (Leslie) Bockerstette; along with her four beloved grandchildren Lindsey Bockerstette Corbin, Amy Bockerstette, Kyle (Abbi) Bockerstette, and Tyler Bockerstette. Her legacy continues with her great-grandchildren, JT and Emmalyn, who brought immense joy to her life. She also leaves behind by her sisters Libby Walker and Phyllis Gibson. Sue was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Paul Bockerstette, as well as her brothers, Reverend William Richardson and Raymond Smalley. A vibrant spirit filled with love for her family, Sue cherished every moment spent with them. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with kindness, affection, and laughter, forever remembered by all who knew and loved her. A visitation will take place at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Rd, Mason, Ohio 45040 on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 10:30am-11:30am with a funeral service to follow at 11:30am. A private burial will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In support of her granddaughter who has Down syndrome, memorial donations may be made to the I GOT THIS Foundation at www.igotthis.foundation
