Sue E. Brewer, age 77, formerly of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Friday, September 2, 2022, at Lexington Country Place in Lexington, Kentucky. Born Tuesday, September 19, 1944, in McKinney, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Sam & Dorothy King Estes. Sue was the widow of the late Kenneth W. Brewer, whom she married Friday, June 21, 1963, and preceded her in death Thursday, August 21, 2014. Sue was a 1962 graduate of Stanford High School, where she was Valedictorian of her class. Sue worked in various jobs over her working career including secretary to Attorney Cabell Francis, Whirlpool, and the Public Defender's Office. Sue was a member of Stanford Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her love for her family and being a hard worker.
Sue leaves behind one son, Rod W. Brewer (Lori) of Georgetown, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Olivia Brewer of Georgetown; and several extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her husband and parents, Sue was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Paul Estes and Gary Estes.
A Public Visitation will be held 11AM-1PM Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.
A Public Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Wednesday, at the funeral home. The Funeral Service will be live streamed on Sue's tribute page of the funeral home's website.
Burial will follow in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
