Sue Ann Marple Chesser, age 79, of Willisburg, KY passed away at 8:29 p.m., Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at her home.
She was born in Marion County, KY on March 29, 1946 to the late Earl and Flossie Tungate Marple.
She was a member of the Free Pentecostal Church and a homemaker.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Leroy Chesser on February 1, 2015; two grandsons, Preston David Medley on July 5, 2000 and Dustin Chesser on May 17, 2019; two brothers, David Marple on September 9, 1996 and Robert Marple on September 24, 2003 and a sister, Janie Petway on September 8, 2009.
Survivors include a son, Kurt Chesser (Audrey) of Willisburg; three daughters, Beverly Chesser of Perryville, Brenda Smith (Jeremy) of Springfield and Karen Sue Nalley of Springfield; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 28th at the Willisburg Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Mike Willingham, officiating.
Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Willisburg.
Serving as pallbearers will be David Marple, Robert Marple, Timothy Marple, Conner Gardner, McKinley Lake and Patrick Smith.
Visitation will be at the Willisburg Church of God of Prophecy from 4 until 8 Friday and after 11:00 Saturday morning.
Carey & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
