Glenda Sue Crane, the daughter of Wiley Lee Tarkington, Sr. and Laura Plunkett Tarkington, was born on November 19, 1945, in Russellville, AR.

On February 3, 1965, in Peach Orchard, MO, she was united to Lanny Crane. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2020.

She was a member of the Tatum General Baptist in Peach Orchard, MO.

Sue passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025, at her home in Gideon, at the age of 79 years, 9 months and 26 days.

Survivors include 2 sons, Landon Crane (Karen) of Campbell, MO, Brandon Crane (Amber) of Gideon, MO; 2 daughters, Lana Davis (Eric), Dee Dee Crane both of Sikeston, MO; 1 brother, Ken Tarkington of Gideon; 1 sister, Betty Ragan of Malden; special friend, Bill Ramsey of Campbell; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by, 1 granddaughter, Haley Davis, 1 grandson, Court Crane, 5 brothers, Wylie, Jr., James, Charles "Lefty", Larry; Jerry; 3 sisters, Billie Jean, Wanda and Jean.

A visitation will be held at 12:00 P.M., Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M., in chapel, with Chaplin J.T. Thomason officiating. Burial will be in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, MO.
