Sue Dillon Gilbert

HINTON, WV – Sue Dillon Gilbert, age 65, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022, at the Beckley ARH Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born April 8, 1957, in Summers County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Opie "Bud" Dillon and Betty Jane Blankenship. Sue was of the Christian faith and worked for many years as a nurse and later as a clerk for the Summers County Hospital. She loved taking care of her animals, often referring to them as her furbabies. She was a proud Nana who was always showing off pictures of her beloved grandbabies. Her presence will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Faye Dunn. Those left to cherish her memory include one son, Jason Clowers and wife Ashley of Lindside, WV; three granddaughters, Courtney, Caylee, and Carlee; special friends, Kitty and Bill Bragg, Doris Naik, Melissa Biggy, and Bucky and Cassie Reed; and her furbabies: three dogs, TeeTee, Mick, and Tilda, and three cats, Speckles, Memphis, and Elvis.
