Sue Moseley Godbee

Rogersville: Sue Moseley Godbee, 76, of Rogersville, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026. Born in Versailles, Kentucky, on August 31, 1949, Sue graduated from Transylvania University with a degree in English and History. Her professional career was with the Department of Human Services in Rogersville, Tennessee. She loved gardening, nature, traveling, and animals (especially cats!). Sue is fondly remembered for her quick wit, humor, and sense of style. In many ways, she enjoyed and spread joy through her fashion, earrings, home decor, food, and gift-giving.

Sue was predeceased by her parents Bertha Kuschill and Charles Moseley and sister Kay Brasel.

Sue is survived and mourned by sister Jessamine Moseley; daughter Beth Godbee with spouse Jonathan; son Douglas Godbee with spouse Crystal and grandson Graham; ex-husband Doug; and extended family members and friends.

Burial and informal memorial will be Sunday, March 29th at 2pm at Narrow Ridge Natural Burial Preserve https://narrowridge.org/about/natural-burial-preserve/
