Sue Ellen Ide, 83 years old of Salem, Wis. passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family.
She was born July 29, 1942, in Kenosha, Wis. the daughter of the late Allan and Cecile (Dixon) Upham. On October 29, 1984, she married Edward F. Ide, III.
Sue's passion was her family; her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her entire world. She was devoted to them and was always involved in their lives, and was a loving foster parent.
Survivors include her husband, Ed; children, Michelle (Eric) Armatys, Brian Childers, Edward F. (Paula) Ide, IV, Douglas Ide, Jon (Chelsea) Ide, Benjamin Ide, Joseph Ide, Tyler (Madison) Ide, Cheyanne Ide, Sophia Ide, Emonee Ide, and Donovan Talley; grandchildren, Ashley Ide, Brianna Childers, Ray Gervais, Ryan Childers, Randy Ide, Amanda Schmidt, Melissa Thomson, Brian Childers, Jr., Zachary Tritten, Justin Tritten, Madison Armatys, Cameron Armatys, and Eric Armatys; and 22 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Stollings; granddaughter, Alexis Anderson; grandson, Edward F. Ide, V; and sisters, Dixie and Pat.
Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 2 p.m., on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Proko Funeral Home. Funeral services will commence at 2 p.m., Friday.
