Sue Bynum Johnson

Sue Bynum Johnson, age 76, passed away on July 20, 2025, in Daingerfield, Texas. She was born on October 22, 1948, to Butler "Gan" and Clotene Ford Bynum in Ajo, Arizona.
Sue is survived by her son and spouse, Jeremy & Stephanie Johnson; son and spouse, Josh & Sheila Johnson; daughter, Charlotte Johnson; grandchildren, Roman and wife Katie Johnson, Blaze Johnson, Claire Johnson, Caleb and wife, Summer Johnson, Zane Johnson, Rolston Morton, Conley Johnson; great-grandson, Landon Gilbert Johnson; brother, David Bynum; sisters-in-laws, Barbara Johnson, Sharon Ross and Darlene Johnson; and numerous nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gib Johnson; parents; sister, Brenda Barbeau; father-in-law
& mother-in-law, Haskel & Tannie Johnson.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Bates-Cooper-Sloan Chapel at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at Lone Star Cemetery.
