Sue Ann Little was born on August 5, 1941, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to George Obadiah and Ruby Louise (Simmons) French. She departed this life on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, in Locust Grove, Oklahoma, at the age of 84 years.

Sue was raised in Tulsa for most of her young life and graduated with the Will Rogers High School Class of 1959. On November 12, 1960, she was united in marriage to David Lane Little in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after the two were introduced by one of Sue's cousins and had even attended school together when they were young. Together, they shared over 58 years of marriage until David's passing on May 23, 2019.

During their life together, Sue and David lived in North Carolina while David served in the military, later making their home in Tulsa, Chouteau, and eventually Locust Grove. Sue devoted her life to being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. Sue's faith was an important part of her life. She attended Open Door Bible Church in Locust Grove for some time and was also a member of Faith Baptist Church in Chouteau. She was active in with the Pryor Patchers Quilt Guild.

Known affectionately as "Grandma" by her family, Sue was a talented and creative woman. She loved quilting, sewing clothes for her grandchildren, and even making doll clothing. She was well-known for her delicious cooking, especially her apple pie, a favorite at every family gathering. She enjoyed decorating her home, moving furniture around, and spending time outdoors tending to her flowers. She loved sitting on the porch watching the birds and cherished the company of her dogs. Above all, Sue loved hosting family and friends in her home, filling it with warmth and love. Though quiet by nature, Sue was incredibly strong. She never complained, was a wonderful listener, and often gave wise advice. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and faithfulness to her family.

Sue is survived by: 3 children: Mark Little and wife Tina of Owasso, Oklahoma, Gary Little of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, and Vicki Haney and husband Stacy of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; a special added son: Rick Patterson of Collinsville, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren: Sarah Vaughan and husband Richard of Inola, Oklahoma, Lindsey Ingle and husband Tory of Inola, Oklahoma, Jeff Little of Tulsa, Oklahoma, David Little of Collinsville, Oklahoma, and Nathan Haney of Pryor, Oklahoma; 4 great-grandchildren: Katie, Audry, and Luke Vaughan, and Owen Ingle, all of Inola, Oklahoma; 1 brother: Tommy French and wife Shirley of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; 2 sisters-in-law: Linda French of Locust Grove, Oklahoma and Gail Little of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
