Sue Ann Myers, 58, of Pottsville, entered her Heavenly home on August 19, 2025. She was born on July 3, 1967, in Davenport, Iowa, to Larry Stock and Judy Wright VanMeter.
Sue worked for Kroger in Russellville for several years before transferring to the Morrilton location, where she also served as a union stewardess. She was known for her strong opinions and her unapologetic honesty. Sue loved cheering (and yelling) for the Razorbacks, playing Bingo, and filling her home with the familiar sounds of Judge Judy or Cops. She loved hot-rodding on her mobility scooters, especially doing wheelies. She had a special fondness for the Pillsbury Doughboy, and her favorite title of all was "MiMi." She treasured time with her granddaughters, proudly supporting them in all of their activities.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years, Greg Myers; and her brother, Rowdy Stock.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Katie Myers (Moriah); her granddaughters, Brooke and Aubrey Rex Myers of Russellville; her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Terri Myers and Debbie (Jamie) GoBell of Russellville; and her mother-in-love, Maryellen Myers of Russellville. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
A visitation celebrating her life will be held Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 9-10 a.m., at the funeral home followed by a graveside service at 10:30 a.m., at Old Baptist Cemetery with the Katie Myers officiating, under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Sue's caregiver, Annette, for her outstanding care and love.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages all to enjoy the little things, plant a tomato plant, listen to REO Speedwagon, take time to smell the roses and live wholeheartedly.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jamie GoBell, Robert Myers, David W. Myers, Justin Myers, Moriah Sullens and Robert Steele.
