Frankfort – Sue Anna Loveless Paynter, age 90, passed away at home after a long illness on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Services will be held at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. J.T. Silence officiating. Burial will follow at Frankfort Cemetery. Visitation will be at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
Mrs. Paynter was born in Somerset, Kentucky on February 15, 1935, to the late Henry Fred Loveless and Jenny Mae Glover Loveless. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Paynter will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, and daughter.
She is survived by her daughter, Ann Paynter; son, Thomas R. Paynter; and by a special caregiver that she loved like a daughter, Penny Collett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas P. Paynter; sister, Juanita Royalty; and brother-in-law; Donald Royalty.
Serving as pallbearers will be Frank Royalty, Steve Royalty, Stuart Collett, Cecil Trimble, Keith Snell, and George Kettenring.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to all of Mrs. Paynter's loving caregivers that have shown compassion and care over the years.
Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory.
