Ronald Spencer Obituary

Publish in a newspaper

It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Ronald "Ronnie" Lewis Spencer.
Following a sudden illness, Ronnie passed peacefully into the arms of his loving Father on October 6, 2025, with his devoted wife of 28 years by his side. Ronnie was born on July 10, 1965.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Spencer; mother, Dorothy Spencer; sister, Angie Spencer; and a host of friends and family too numerous to name. He was preceded in death by his brother Doug Spencer.
Ronnie attended Second Street Elementary, Frankfort High School and Kentucky State University. He worked for Kentucky State Government, retiring in 2017.
He was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and never missed a game. Ronnie love working out, being in nature and traveling. His laugh was infectious and will be so missed by his wife, Pam and constant canine companion, Mina.
Ronnie always had a smile on his face and never met a stranger. He was a man of character and you knew the world was a better place when you were with him. Ronnie's sense of humor, wisdom and caring spirit left us better people.
He was the rock of the family and the face of inspiration to the many young people he mentored.
There will be Celebration of Life – Pot Luck Gathering on October 25, 2025, at the Jack Williams Pavilion at Juniper Hills Park, 11:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m.
He is gone too soon from our sight, but will remain in our hearts forever.
Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory.
