Sue Songer Obituary
Sue Isbell Songer, age 85, of Johns Creek, passed away on October 24, 2025. She was born in Athens, Georgia, to the late George Isbell and Bertha Tolbert Isbell. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Isbell and Marshall Isbell and her sister, Wilma Isbell Hill.
Sue is survived by her son, Troy Songer, and his wife, Amy. She is also survived by her brothers, Wayne Isbell and Calvin Isbell; her sister, Melba Isbell Morgan; and her sisters-in-law, Willene Songer Johnson and her husband, Stan, as well as Louise Songer Islam. Sue was a cherished grandmother to Abigail Songer and will be fondly remembered by her many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Interment will take place at the National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia, where Sue will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Lawrence E. Songer.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Monroe, Georgia.
