Carol Ann Songer, 72, of Warren PA, died peacefully at her home, with her sister at her side, Friday, October 3, 2025.

She was born in Jamestown, NY on April 12, 1953, the daughter of the late Jack Q. and Marion M. Reed Songer. Carol graduated from Warren Area High School, Class of 1971. She then attended Pennsylvania State University and graduated in 1974 with a bachelor's degree in Home Economics Education. Carol was employed with the Warren County School District from 1974 to 2008, until her retirement. She loved teaching Home Economics (now named family and consumer science) and working with so many wonderful students. Children were of very high priority to Carol, and she loved teaching them and showing them the right way. Carol has contributed to the community through her involvement and distribution of many quilts, through the Quilters Guild with various groups and shows.

She is survived by her siblings; Susan Peltz and husband Steve of Augusta, Michigan, and Jack Songer and wife Gayle of Yerington, Nevada.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her brother, William H. Songer.
