Sue Szymcek Obituary
Mrs. Linda Sue Szymcek, age 74 of Cunningham, TN passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Dover Care Center. She was born March 4, 1951 in Dover, TN daughter of the late Ray and Katie Sexton.
Sue retired from Trane Company. She was all about her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved the Lord.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouse, Joe Szymcek and her siblings, Charlie Sexton, Ray (Bud) Sexton, and Gerline Matingly.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Joe Higley; grandchildren, Tristen Page (Taylor), Alissa Roberts (T.J.), JulieAnn Page, Joseph Higley, Jr., and Jadyn Higley; great-grandchildren, Taylynn Page, Layne Roberts, Lee Roberts, River Page, and Lottie Joe Roberts; and siblings, Kerry Sexton (Kathy), Rita Yeager (Keneth), Peggy Reynolds, and Shirley Milliken.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Anglin Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Moore officiating. Visiation will begin at 12:00 pm and will continue until the time of service on Thursday. Burial will be in the Calvary Catholic Church Cemetery in Edwardville, IL. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Arrangments are entrusted to Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, TN and online condolences may be made at www.anglinfuneralhome.com.
