She was born on July 12, 1979, in Auburn, California.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Blake Smarr officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
Mrs. McLachlin is survived by two daughters: Izzy Troglia of Creston and Arwen Hilliard of Lansing; her mother, Colleen Smith; one brother, John Dougan; and one sister, Patricia Estes; a niece, Taya Dougan.
The family will accept flowers, or memorials may be made to the family, c/o Boone Family Funeral Home, PO Box 786, West Jefferson, NC 28694.
