Suella Howard Waltermyer, born on August 16, 1941, in Ashland, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 13, 2024, in Gainesville, Virginia. She was 83 years old. Suella spent most of her life in the Baltimore, Maryland area before moving to Gainesville to be lovingly cared for by her daughter, Pam Wilkins. Pam was by her side as Suella took her final breath.

A graduate of the Maryland School for the Deaf, Suella maintained lifelong friendships and found joy in monthly lunches with her dear friends. She loved her family fiercely and unconditionally, treasuring every moment spent with them. After retirement, Suella and John embraced their love of travel and shared many adventures on cruises together.

My beautiful Mother. I love you so very much. I will miss you everyday for the rest of my life. Thank you for saying "yes!" to coming to live with me.
It wasn´t supposed to be this way. We had plans. We were going to do things, but I will forever be grateful for the short time we spent together.
Until we meet again~ xoxo

I know I will missed her very much to hang around with her at the deaf club or visit her at her house. We also talk to each other by VP once a month. We were a gang group with John, Jerry, Suelia and me for many years to go
anywhere. RIP Suella.
