Suheila Sabri Faris April 20, 1950 – October 16, 2025
It is with great sadness that the family of Suhiela Faris announces her passing on October 16th, at the age of 75.
Suheila was born on April 20, 1950, in Bethlehem to her parents, the late Sabri and Antionette. She was the beloved wife of Suheil Faris, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered around faith, family, and love.
Suheila is survived by her husband, Suheil, and their three children: George (Kristen), Deanna (Paul), and Micheal (Vivian). She was a devoted and loving grandmother to Anthony (Jacci), Samantha (Mitchell), Nicholas, Richard, George Jr., and Julianna, and a proud great-grandmother to Sophia and Leila.
Suheila is also survived by her brothers Charlie (Darlene) and David (Faith) and was preceded in death by her brothers Johnny and Pete.
Suheila will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her generosity, and her quiet strength. Suheila was an avid gardener who found peace and purpose in her flowers and plants. She loved to cook and was happiest when sharing a meal with her family and loved ones. Her home was always filled with comfort, love, and laughter.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Basilica of St. Mary.
Funeral services will take place on Monday, October 20, at 11:00 AM at The Basilica of St. Mary – Antiochian Orthodox Church, preceded by a morning visitation at 10:00 AM.
