Billy T. "Bill" Faris

Billy T. "Bill" Faris, age 77, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He was born January 31, 1948 in Ewing, Kentucky, the son of the late James D. and Pauline (Mastin) Faris. He was a 1966 graduate of Belmont High School. After graduating, he moved to Jamestown. He designed their house in drafting class. He was a member of the United States Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War. After returning from serving his country, he became active in the construction business, retiring from Ferguson Construction in 2012. He was co-owner of Red Post Homemade Noodles. He was a long-time member of the Church of the Nazarene in Xenia, and proud to be a friend of Bill W. for 33 years. He was an avid reader and loved fishing. He was always proud of his children and loved attending all of his grandchildren's sporting events. He was their greatest cheerleader. He is survived by his wife of 55 years and 231 days, Angela S. (Hilderbrandt) Faris; children Stacey (Steve) Reeves, Amy (Dale) Conley, Rebecca (Chris) Day, and Joe (Trisha) Faris; sister Kathy (Jamie) Faris Lyons; grandchildren Ashley, Adam, Amber, Kody (Abby), Hannah (Tyler), Quentin (Kassidy), Brock, Bryce, Brody, Kelsey, Josie, and Blake; great grandchildren T.J., Chandler, Carly, DellaRae, Norah, and Owen; and numerous extended family members and friends. Funeral services will be held 7 pm Tuesday, October 14, at the Xenia Church of the Nazarene 1204 West Second Street, Xenia, Ohio 45385. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5-7 pm at the church. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family in Silver Creek New Township Cemetery in Jamestown. Powers-Kell is assisting the family.
