It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Sukuna Ryomen Marcus, who was born on December 12, 2023, in Bountiful, Utah. Sukuna, a bright light in our lives, left us too soon on November 2, 2025, in Layton, Utah, at the tender age of nearly two.
Sukuna was a beloved son of Dylan and Taunjinikia Marcus, who cherished him deeply. Though his time with us was brief, he filled each moment with laughter and joy. His infectious spirit brought warmth to everyone around him. From the sunlit mornings spent outside to joyful afternoons at the park, Sukuna delighted in nature's wonders, often found exploring the ground, picking up rocks, and marveling at the simple beauty of his surroundings.
He had a particular love for music, and nothing made him happier than dancing to its beat, bringing smiles to the faces of those fortunate enough to witness his enthusiasm. His joy was contagious, reminding us all to cherish the little things that make life extraordinary.
Sukuna's legacy will forever live on in the hearts of his loving parents, who will continue to celebrate his fleeting yet impactful life. He was a reminder of the purity and joy that can be found in the world, even for just a short while. His laughter will echo in our memories, and his love will remain a guiding light for his family as they navigate life without him.
As we say goodbye to our little sunshine, we hold onto the lessons he imparted: to appreciate each moment, to find joy in simple pleasures, and to dance to our own rhythm.
