Keith Lee Timms, a resilient and adventurous soul, born in Salt Lake City, Utah, on October 6, 1973. He passed away November 11, 2025. His spirit is now unbound, no longer confined by the limits of his body. Keith's life was full of daring exploits and rich experiences, which he lived according to his own rules.
Keith was hard-working, dedicated, and capable of doing whatever he set his mind to whether it was fixing a car, renovating a house, woodworking, growing a garden, or canning salsa. Keith was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and exploring anything nature had to offer. His skills as a Traeger master made him the star of many family gatherings. Keith's heart belonged to the Miami Dolphins and he remained a dedicated life long fan even when they made it very difficult. His Halloween parties were always over the top and memorable.
Keith's greatest treasures in life were his daughter, Denise, and his grandchildren-Tearny, Xavier, Brixley, Hexton, Presley, Quinton, and Graham. His love for them reached deeper than the deepest ocean and higher than the tallest mountain, and his resilience and adventurous spirit will continue to live on through each of them.
He is survived by his daughter, Denise Leeanne Timms Hunter; grandaughter, Presley Raine Hunter; wife, Gina Mason; his beloved dog, Sassy Sue; his mother, Patricia Timms; his brother, Ken Timms (Danni); and his sister, Alicia Timms.
Keith now joins his father, Kenneth (Skip) Timms, embarking on a new adventure beyond the veil of this life while still debating who was the better mechanic.
As we remember Keith, we celebrate a life well-lived, marked by resilience and adventure. Keith made a difference. He lived well, and he will be deeply loved and missed.
We encourage those who knew Keith to share their memories and upload photos to his memorial page. Each reminiscence, each image, helps to keep his adventurous spirit alive, reminding us all to live our lives with resilience and joy.
Funeral services will be held at 3120 West 4700 South in West Valley Utah, on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 4 p.m. A viewing is planned for the hour prior to the services, with a dinner to follow.
Keiths final wish was to be cremated and have his ashes spread in the Hills of Wendover and the Mountains of Utah.
