Kathleen Dopp

Kathleen Beck Dopp, aged 59, passed away peacefully of pancreatic cancer on December 20, 2025, at her home in Layton, Utah, surrounded by her family. She was born on January 27, 1966, in Burbank, California, to Carroll and Carolyn Beck, and is the second of four children.

Kathleen moved to Hobbs, New Mexico in 1975 where she eventually met Judd Dopp. She married Judd on September 9, 1988, in the Salt Lake City, Utah Temple. Kathleen and Judd moved to Layton, Utah shortly after getting married, where they raised their six children.

Kathleen had various jobs in accounting and was beloved amongst her co-workers. She loved watching plays, going to Swig, traveling with her family, and spoiling her grandchildren. She was the heartbeat of her family and had a special way of making everyone feel seen and loved.

Kathleen loved her Savior Jesus Christ and could often be found emulating His example by serving someone in need. She made a lasting impact on the lives of so many and will forever be remembered and cherished.

She is survived by her husband, Judd; her children, Ryan (Samantha), Kyle (Rachel), Tyler (Ashley), Bryan (Jenna), Mykle (Hailey), Mikayla; her 12 grandchildren, and her mother, Carolyn.

Viewing on Sunday, December 28, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Myers Mortuary, 250 North Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah; a viewing on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Park Ward Chapel, 275 Park Ave, Layton, Utah; and funeral services on Monday, December 29, 2025 at the church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, Ogden, Utah.
