Summer McDaniel Obituary
Summer was born August 24, 1964, in Postville, Iowa the daughter of Gene Carrol and Gretchen Ilo (Tillotson) Kruse. She graduated from Duncan-Russell High School in California. On November 8, 2000, Summer was united in marriage to Gregory "Scott" McDaniel at their home. Summer had worked for Subway, Parkview Pharmacy, Fareway Grocery Store, and First Interstate Bank in Nevada. She enjoyed cooking and traveling and especially loved to spend time at home outside watching the animals.
Summer is survived by her husband, Scott of Nevada; her daughter, Tiffany Peal of Benicia, CA; her stepdaughter, Danielle Ray (Terry) Warford of Salina, KS; her brothers, Lyndon Kruse, David Scott (Kelli) Kruse, Charles Kruse and Kelly (Kim) Kruse. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, Phillip and William Kruse.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2023, at Rasmusson-Ryan Funeral Home (1418 Fawcett Pkwy) in Nevada. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial Contributions may be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org)
