Sunnie was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett George; and siblings, Mildred Brown, Lucille Grissom, Delcie Bonds, Laron Bonds, and Jack Bonds.
She is survived by her nephew, Steve Grissom; and several other nieces and nephews.
