A celebration of Superintendent Roland's remarkable life and legacy will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Praise Trinity Christian Ministries Church of God in Christ, located at 5522 Bayou Rapides Rd., Alexandria, LA 71303. Public viewing and visitation will begin at 9:00 am and continue until the start of the service at 11:00 am. Following the service, James will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory.
Superintendent James R. Roland leaves behind a legacy of love, leadership, and faith that will be cherished by all who knew him. May he rest in eternal peace, knowing that his contributions to the body of Christ will never be forgotten.
