Susan Beverly Behrle, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on June 29, 2025, in Gainesville, Georgia, at the age of 77. Born on September 10, 1947, in Ft. Payne, Alabama, Susan embraced a life rich with love, laughter, and a devotion to her family that knew no bounds.

Her career in retail sales allowed her to connect with people while working in clothing, a reflection of her warm and inviting personality. She had an uncanny ability to bring joy and comfort to those around her, often with her charming smile and encouraging words.

Susan was a woman who cherished her family above all else. She took immense pride in her children, Shuree (Donald) Toney, Michael (Stacy) Casey, and Cassandra McElroy. Her legacy lives on in her grandchildren: Amanda (Eduardo), Casey, Jake, Reghan, and Aidan. Even more, she found joy in her role as a great-grandmother to Olivia and Ezra, who brought light to her life in the sweetest ways.

An ardent lover of flowers, Susan had a particular fondness for yellow roses, which seemed to embody her vibrant spirit. They were a reflection of her warmth and kindness and served as reminders of her enduring love for her family and friends.

Susan is predeceased by her beloved son, Jason Casey, and her parents, Robert and Roxie Hunt McWaters. While she is no longer with us, the memories she created and the lessons she taught will forever resonate in the hearts of her loved ones.

Family and friends are invited to honor her memory during the visitation on July 2, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service that will commence at 2:00 PM at Ivie Funeral Home, located at 1053 S. Elm Street, Commerce, GA, 30529.

As we remember Susan Beverly Behrle, we hold close the joyous moments spent in her presence, the laughter shared, and the undying love she so freely gave. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten, living on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her beautiful life.
