Susan Lynn Botich passed away peacefully on June 20th surrounded by her family after battling leukemia.Sue was born to Charles and Mary Botich on June 5, 1953. Sue was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana and was a graduate of James Whitcomb Riley High School In 1971. Sue spent many years working for the Treasurer's Office of St. Joseph County. She was an avid Elvis and Blake Shelton fan and member of the St. Peter and Paul Serbian Orthodox Church Choir. Her favorite place to visit was the Tennessee Smoky Mountains. She enjoyed bowling and Taekwondo classes and became a blue belt. She was small but mighty. She also had a life long love for all animals.She is survived by her daughter Danielle Minnes Cook (Bryan) of South Bend and Son Chris Piper of Mishawaka. She adored all of her Grandchildren, Lexi, Savannah, Olivia, Layne, Abbi, Jillian and Johnaven, and Great Grandchildren, Charlotte and Jack. She is also survived by her sister Diane Bernhardt (Bill) of Noblesville, Indiana and many neices and a nephew whom she loved. She is preceded in death by her Father Charles Botich, Mother Mary Botich, Sister Elaine Fortson, Brother in law Marty Fortson and Son in law Christian Minnes.Cremation has taken place. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 5-7pm in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Funeral services will be celebrated at 7:00pm.
