A memorial service for Susan Jordan Brasher,73, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2201 Airline Dr., Bossier City, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Reverend Jason Wood.
Susan was born on November 6, 1950 to Horace and Bernice Jordan in Shreveport, Louisiana and passed Monday, November 20, 2023 in Bossier City, Louisiana.
She graduated Woodlawn High School in 1968 and married the love of her life, Ronnie Brasher, in 1977. She was a homemaker and in her spare time enjoyed scrapbooking, painting and ceramics. Above all, she loved her family and grandchildren. To know her was to love her, and she will be truly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Brenda Cox. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Ronnie Brasher; sons, Lance Brasher and wife, Melissa and Adam Brasher and wife, Sarah; grandchildren, Hannah Hall, Isabella Brasher, Jordan Brasher, Seth Brasher, Charlie Brasher and Andrew Brasher and brother, Vaughn Jordan and wife, Marianna.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Brasher, Charlie Brasher, Jordan Brasher and Seth Brasher.
The family would like to express special thanks to Pilgrim Manor and Amedisys Hospice for the care and compassion given to Susan in her last week.
The family suggests memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
