Susan Castle Winslow Barkes Obituary
Susan was born June 22, 1948 in Long Beach, California, daughter of Douglas Patton Winslow and Dorothy Carlson Winslow. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was most known for being a wonderful teacher and an avid animal lover.
She is survived by her husband, David Houston Barkes; daughter, Megan Castle Lee (Chad); son, Hunter Snowden Barkes (Heather). Two grandchildren: Nettie Lee and Shaw Barkes.
A private memorial service will take place in California.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Carolina Basset Hound Rescue, PO Box 80082, Charleston, SC 29416
