Mrs. Susan Deaney

Susan Deaney (nee Podracky) age 88 years of Carneys Point, formerly of Toms River passed away on Wednesday November 26, 2025 in Samaritan Hospice, Voorhees. She was born and raised in Newark, NJ and lived in Matawan, Middletown and Howell and then Toms River. Susan was a homemaker and also cared for others. She was a huge fan of Elvis, Creedence Clearwater Revival and also John Fogarty.

She is survived by her son, Christopher and Holly Deaney of Carneys Point; her grandchildren, Alyssa and Zachary Deaney; her great grandchildren, Mason and Grayson; her sisters, Milly and Roland Colella of Lakewood, Betty Roman of Matawan, Barbara Perry of Hazlet, Ellie and Pat Delonardo; her sister-in-law, Marion Brescher of Flemington and many nieces and nephews. Susan was predeceased by her husband, Edward Deaney, her grandson, Ryan Deaney; her brothers, Stephen and Wally Podracky and her sister, Judy Mescal.
