Sue was my quilting buddy. We went to the quilting meetings together. Even though Sue was in her 30´s and I am over 70, she never made me feel like an old lady. We laughed and enjoyed our time together. I was just getting ready to call her to set a time so that I could show her how to finish her quilt tops into quilt blankets when I got word of her passing. I am beyond devastated at losing my friend. She always spoke so well of loving teaching her class. She really cared about the children she taught. She really loved Andy. She loved her little dachshunds. I will miss my friend. Rest peacefully, Sue.

Sue was my "Quilting Buddy". We went to our monthly quilt meetings together. I was about to call her so I could start showing her how to turn her finished quilt tops into quilted blankets when I got word of her passing. Sue always made me laugh, always had nothing but good things to say. She sure did love those kiddos she taught. I am beyond devastated to have lost my wonderful friend. I know I will think of Sue often when I am working on a quilt........

We are heartbroken to hear about Sue´s passing. She was more than a neighbor and a friend; she was a ray of sunshine who brightened up every conversation. As I was remembering Sue, I remembered a quote that I think captured her essence and her spirit. "It´s not the years in your life that count, It´s the life in your years" Sue lived every moment with love and passion. She was a generous soul with a big heart, that´s who she was. We are grateful for every day that we had her as a friend.
