Susan "Sue" Dwyer of Lumberton, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 28, 2025 at the age of 59. She heroically fought pancreatic cancer for the past 3 years. Born on August 1, 1966 in North Bergen, NJ, Sue was the cherished daughter of John and Dorothy Dwyer. She was raised in a loving home, surrounded by family who remained close throughout her life. From a young age, Sue valued deep connections with her parents, siblings, and extensive family - a closeness she carried into adulthood and instilled in her own children. She was a proud and nurturing mother to Heather and Sean, and her love knew no bounds. Her kindness, big heartedness, and fun-loving spirit touched the lives of all who knew her. Sue loved her daughter and son-in-law, Sean Murphy. She loved being a mother, but her favorite title was "Grandma," and she leaves behind two granddaughters, Cassidy Johanna and McKenna Sue. She also leaves behind her loving siblings Debra, Terry, Eileen, MariBeth, Kathy, Diane, and John. Sue is also survived by her 12 nieces and nephews, along with 7 great nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on October 2, from 4-7pm at Perinchief Chapels in Mt. Holly, NJ, followed by a service at 7pm. All who knew and loved Sue are welcome to attend and celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Samaritan Hospice. Though she is no longer with us in person, her legacy of love, strength, and kindness will continue to guide and inspire us every day.
