Susan Norma Elliston

Mrs. Susan Norma Elliston, age 79, of LaGrange, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025. Born on July 19, 1946, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Davis and Thora Goodman Davis. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jackie, and her stepfather, George Walsh.
Susan is survived by her devoted husband, George Edward Elliston; her son, James "Jim" Elliston, and his wife PJ; her brothers, Tim Walsh, Kris Walsh, George Walsh, and Larry Davis; grandchildren, Drew Elliston (Kirksley) and Kenzie Hanson (Josh); and great-grandchildren, Karson Elliston, Conner Elliston, and Collins Hanson. She is also cherished by her nieces and extended family.
Susan dedicated more than 30 years of service to McDonald Oil Company, where she was known for her hard work and warm spirit. An avid cat lover, she found joy in caring for her feline companions. She especially loved Christmastime, a season that reflected her generous heart and gift for hospitality. Susan had a special way of making everyone feel welcome in her home. She adored her family, and she filled the lives of those around her with kindness, laughter, and a love that will never fade.
Services for Mrs. Elliston will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the service hour.
