Susan Elizabeth Gadd (née Murkey), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away suddenly on February 8, 2025, at the age of 74. She was born on June 12, 1950, and lived a life filled with love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends.

Susan’s warmth and generosity touched everyone she met. She had a remarkable ability to bring people together, whether through her hospitality, wisdom, or colorful sense of humor. She will be remembered for her compassionate heart, her strength in the face of adversity, and the love she shared so freely.

She is survived by her husband of nearly 54 years, Thomas; children, Gregory Gadd and Cynthia Konold (Shannon); brother, Brian Murkey (Gina); grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and so many more who will forever cherish her memory. She is reunited in peace with her parents, grandparents, cousins, and other cherished family and friends.

A celebration of Susan’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on April 6, 2025 at the Lakewood Masonic Temple, 15300 Detroit Road, Lakewood, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory. A private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Poor Clare Colettine Nuns of Cleveland, in her name.

Susan’s love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
