Susan Grindell

Susan (Sue) Grindell 73 of South Dennis, MA passed away after a brief illness on February 8th, 2026.

She was the devoted wife to Lloyd Grindell, with whom she shared 55 wonderful years together.

Born in Nyack, NY she was the beloved daughter to the late Richard and Eula (Hatch) Fullerton.

Family was the center of Sue's world. She leaves behind her loving sons: Stephen Grindell and his wife Kimberly of Dennis, MA and Timothy Grindell of Newport, NH.

She was an amazing grandmother to Caitlin Lozier of Hopkinton, NH, Christopher Lozier of Carriere, Mississippi, Codie Lee Grindell of Waupun, Wisconsin, Jessica Grindell of West Yarmouth, MA, Dakota Grindell of Newport, NH, and William Grindell of Winooski, VT. She was also a great grandmother to 5 incredible great grandchildren.

Sue loved her sisters deeply: Marlaine Buettner of Brewster, MA, Cherly Holmes of Brewster, MA, Elizabeth Grindell of Dennis, MA, and Mary Jo Mastriana and cherished her time together especially sister's weekends.

She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will always have a special place in her heart.

Sue was a women of great faith and would always tell you she "loved you more"

She enjoyed her adventures with her husband whether it was going to street rod shows, motorcycle riding, four wheeling, boating down Bass River, or traveling to see family and friends in their RV.

Sue will be deeply missed by her family and friends and we all were truly blessed to have had her in our lives.

Per Sue's wishes a family and friends gathering will take place at Jonny Kelly Park in Dennis later this year.
