Susan Dawn Harrell, 60, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at her home with her family by her side. She has battled ALS for a couple of years.
Susan was born in Lewistown to Mike and Enola Wolbaum on April 17, 1965. She attended school and grew up in Lewistown.
Susan had numerous work experiences. She worked at the Kendall Mine and the Judith Gap Sawmill. Susan then worked at Valle Vista Manor as a housekeeper before becoming a CNA and working at the Montana State Home. Later on, she went to work for Dean Newton Oldsmobile as a detailer and assistant shop manager.
On June 19, 1987, Susan was united in marriage to Tim Harrell in Lewistown. Together they raised two girls, Misty and Kristi.
Susan's greatest passion was her family; she loved being a Grandma to Bailey Jean, Tucker Weston, and an angel grandson, Dahyzen Jahyde McIntosh. Susan also loved camping and fishing, humming birds, crafts of all kinds, gnomes, and her Trans Am.
Susan is survived by her husband, Tim Harrell; daughters, Misty (Todd) Stevenson and Kristi (Dustin) McIntosh; grandchildren, Bailey Jean Harrell and Tucker Weston Stevenson; siblings, Kevin Wolbaum and Stephanie, Pat Forest and Jack, Michelle Barkhoff and Ted; numerous nieces and nephews; great- nephews; and a great-great-niece.
