Susan Jean Hoose

In Memory of Susan Jean Hoose June 12,1952 ~ May 18,2025 Susan was born to Homer W. and Gracie Mae Standridge in Flint Michigan June 12,1952. Sisters Wilma, Bertha, and Mildred also joined the family. After the family moved to California Susan attended and graduated from Lompoc High School. Lompoc is where she met and married Air Force Airman Lawrence John Hoose while he was stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base. They married June 12,1971 in Lompoc Ca. Susan truly enjoyed going on small trips to Laughlin, and the beach. She especially enjoyed Pismo and Avila Beach. Susan loved spending time with her children and grandchildren; she was dedicated to her family. Susan is predeceased by her parents, and her three sisters. She is survived by her true love, her husband Lawrence Hoose, her daughter Amanda Hoose, and her son Christopher Hoose. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Joshua and Kaylee. Susan will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. A cherished friend and sister. Missed by everyone who knew her and was touched by her presence. There will be a celebration of Susan's life and all the memories and love for her to be shared on May 29, 2025, at 4:00 pm at the Wood Family Funeral Service Chapel.
