Susan Nelle Clark, 77, passed away in her home on March 26, 2026. She was born on September 18, 1948, to the late Clinton M. Clark and Billie Elizabeth Kidd. She was born and raised in Tarrant County, Texas.

Susan was a gifted and creative glassblower who turned her talent into a lifelong passion and profession. From the early 1980s through the mid-2000s, she owned and operated her business, A Touch of Glass. Alongside her mother, Billie Clark, she traveled across the country showcasing and selling her handcrafted glass creations. Locally, many remember seeing Susan at craft fairs at Hulen Mall and Ridgmar Mall, where her artistry and dedication were on full display.

She had a special love for animals, especially her cats, whom she lovingly cared for-often treating them to home-cooked meals of boiled chicken.

Susan will be remembered for her strong political opinions, her independent spirit, and the conversations she sparked. She also found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially watching her favorite soap operas.

Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Scott Horn; her parents, Clinton Merrill Clark and Billie Elizabeth Kidd.

She is survived by her sister, Alicia Massingill and husband Mahlon Massingill of Godley, Texas; her nephew, Trey Massingill and wife Shawn of Cleburne, Texas; her niece, Laurel Bartlett and husband Scott Bartlett of Godley, Texas; great-nephews Dillon Oberbeck, Tanner Massingill, Kolby Bartlett, and Maddox Bartlett; one great-niece, Maycie Massingill; and many cherished cousins.

In accordance with her wishes, no memorial service will be held.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Humane Society of North Texas.
